Priya Punia Career

She made her domestic debut in 2016 with T20 against Hyderabad for Delhi women’s team in Bengaluru. She was also participated in Delhi senior side at the One Day Championship at Bengaluru. Priya was managed to score 407 runs in just 8 matches at an average of 50. In 2015, she also represented the north zone where she scored few big knocks and impressed the selectors. With excellent performance in domestic matches, she got selected in Indian national women cricket team.
In 2016, she made her professional debut in T20 matches in Bengaluru. Priya was a part of the Delhi women’s team. There is reason that his father has to to take a decision to construct a special pitch and nets for Priya Punia.

Surendra Punia was transferred from Delhi to Jaipur as an employee of Indian Survey Department in the year 2016. When Priya wants to register at a Cricket Academy in Jaipur the coach there mock down her for being a girl. After that she refused to join the academy but her father wanted her daughter to achieve her dream, so his father first approached a groundsman to set up a pitch but he demanded rupees 1 lakh so Surendra Punia decided to set up the pitch himself.
